Project overview
Project Kobong is a proposed integrated energy and digital infrastructure platform in the Katse Dam region of Lesotho. Its estimated $6.2 billion investment encompasses pumped-storage hydropower, solar, battery storage, transmission, fiber connectivity, and an AI data center platform.
Development is subject to feasibility studies, permitting, financing, regulatory approvals, and definitive project agreements.
